Context
MindBeacon provides digital therapy and mental health support. For a product like this, accessibility is not optional: people reach it at vulnerable moments, and every barrier in a flow can stop someone from getting help.
My work focused on auditing the experience from both the UX and the accessibility side, down to the web components the product is built with, and turning the findings into concrete design proposals that meet WCAG A, AA, and AAA, and Section 508.
Contributions
UX Audit
Audited the user experience across the product's flows, identifying friction points and usability issues.
Accessibility Audit
Evaluated the product against WCAG at levels A, AA, and AAA, and against Section 508.
Web Components
Audited the web components themselves, not just the pages, so each fix applies everywhere a component is used.
Design Proposals
Proposed design changes and improvements for each finding, respecting the existing visual language while bringing every component in line with the standards.
